The Hertfordshire Broxbourne Herts  Date: TBC

Located in a Grade II listed mansion and scenic grounds The Hertfordshire is awe-inspiring!  The clubhouse is set in an 18th Century Mansion and the course meanders through ancient grounds once owned by The Knights Templer.  Jack Nicklaus II designed the golf course in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, making full use of the natural surroundings. The lakes and forests in the area, for example, make for wonderfully challenging natural hazards.

Marriott Worsley Park Manchester  Date: TBC

Marriott Worsley Park Golf Course was laid out by Ross McMurray and Michael King of European Golf Design and they have transformed 185 acres of non-descript farmland into a thing of wonder: visually interesting, exiting to play, and full of movement with holes that embrace both the heroic and the delightful, all with plenty of options. It's a design that's difficult to fault.  The course has a range of tee positions, 8 lakes and 71 strategically based bunkers and it provides an exiting challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Leatherhead Golf Club Leatherhead Surrey Date: TBC
Leatherhead Golf Club, which celebrated its centenary in 2003 is a fine example of a mature Surrey Parkland Golf Course. Ancient oak trees line the fairways whilst the greens which are well guarded and subtly contoured are regarded as being amongst the best in Surrey. Leatherhead Golf Club has hosted PGA events and is a regular venue for Surrey County fixtures. The course is peaceful, yet easily accessible, being 10 minutes from the A3 and 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the M25.

The Players Club Bristol  Date: TBC

Situated just one mile from junction 18 of the M$, Bristol and Bath on the outskirts of Bristol bordering Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Ranked 113 in the Golf World "Best Courses in Great britainand Ireland " in 2006, all 3 courses have been designed and built to the highest specifications that will push even the finest golfer's in the world to their limits. One striking features is its maturity with woodland, lakes, tress and gorse coming into play. Put this on your "must play list as one notable golf writer said".

De Vere Wychwood Park Weston Crewe Cheshire  Date: TBC

Wychwood Park's European PGA tour-standard course opened in 2002, at 7191 yards off the championship tees, provides the ultimate challenge for golfers.This picturesque US-style layout has come on nicely since opening less than a decade ago and is a particularly tough proposition off the back tees (nearly 7,000 yards), specially bearing in mind the numerous water hazards.Course management is absolutely vital and even then you should still expect to lose at least one ball. It’s certainly not a track where you can grip and rip it.

Rules News of The World Transatlantic Team Challenge

Play: Pairs Stableford - both scores to count. The top 5 teams from each regional qualifier will go through to the regional final. Regional Finals green fees
will be FREE OF CHARGE
Handicaps: All competitors will play off 3/4 of full handicap.

Maximum handicap allowance   Men 24 Ladies 30

Regional Finals: The highest placed 6 Pairs at each of  the regional finals at  will be invited to take part in the overseas final in the Las Vegas

The winning pairs will receive an expenses paid trip, which will include:

Return Flights ( Virgin Atlantic) - Hotel Accommodation (twin room)-  Green Fees -Transfers - Uniforms- Gala Dinner

Fair Play: Whilst the organisers accept the handicap submitted by each player as true, a computerised handicap system will monitor each individual score on the day of play; handicaps can be adjusted by the organisers for the Regional Finals.
Based on the assumption that all players will be playing off a lower handicap, the organisers will take an average of the returns and any abnormal scores will be
investigated thoroughly.In the event that the organisers consider that a player has not played in accordance with these rules, he or she may be disqualified from the tournament.
The organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Golf Buggies will only be allowed if the player has a valid medical certificate.However, the partner or partners must not use the buggy.
Playing Partners: It is up to each individual player or players to ensure that you advise the starter if you have been paired up with other player or players who are known to you. In the event that you play with another pairing who are known to you, you may be disqualified from the tournament
Entry Fees are non-refundable. Members of host golf clubs will be required to pay green fees, unless otherwise stated by Golf Club Secretary/General Manager. Any Competitors failing to appear on their allocated date and tee time without giving a Minimum of 48 hours
notice will be liable for their green fees.

Winning Finalists will be responsible for their own airport taxes
