Golf Frontiers launched  Fund-Raising4Schools, a new community fund raising initiative with a show case charity golf day which took place at West Herts Golf Club, Watford, Hertfordshire,  in support of Holy Rood RC School Watford. The day raised in excess of £1500 for the school with more to come from an auction.

This was the first of hundreds of days already planned for 2011

How can your school benefit from running a golf day?

Using golf as a fund-raising medium is not new and has been widely used by charities and celebrities for many years. However, these tend to be  fairly time consuming projects requiring substantial planning and manpower. Unfortunately, most schools do not have the resources available to run a successful day.

This is where Fundraising4Schools can help. In partnership with our sister company Golf Frontiers, we will plan and run your own fund raising golf day from start to finish. With over 14 years of managing the largest amateur events in the world, we have all the experience and tools to create a fantastic event for your school.

When we say we do everything for you, we really do mean everything from negotiating with local golf courses, securing the dates, working with local media, and delivering all the printed material needed for the school to raise funds in the local community.

There is NO COST to the school for this service and you can be rest assured that there will be no invoices arriving now or in the future for this service.  The major sponsors of the national roll-out include Virgin Atlantic, OKI and Comet who have committed substantial support to the project.
