When Two Become One

In January 2010 International Pairs and Globalgolfers.com merged to become the largest grass roots amateur golf company in the world.

For the last ten years International Pairs and Globalgolfers have been friendly rivals in the amateur golf market. While International Pairs was building the largest Club event on a global basis, Globalgolfers was building a combined membership and tournament organisation dedicated to looking after the needs of the casual/disenfranchised golfer.

Both companies have built a strong brand amongst the general golfing population and built our reputation on delivering unrivalled events to the golf enthusiast. The merger brings all the assets under one roof, which includes Globalgolfers online membership scheme and tournaments and International Pairs.

The new company now owns four major events:

• International Pairs (Club Members)
• Transatlantic Team Challenge (Ryder Cup for amateurs - USA V's UK)
• Jamaica Doubles (simple pairs event)
• Mauritius Open (Pairs event targeted towards the Corporate Sector)

The Membership Scheme

Although GF has been focused on marketing to the 'Club' player, Golf Frontiers membership services will be sold across the board to all golfers. Although it was built with the casual golfer at the forefront of our marketing activities, the new offering will have a number of key benefits that would be attractive to the club player as well.
